For a special lunch or dinner, to celebrate a special occasion with loved ones or to just experience the full flavour of an Italian holiday, the ‘Chef in Villa’ service allows MON guests to savour the typical dishes of the region according to the fine dining interpretation of a chef or in the most traditional way, with a local cook.

The region’s seasonal delicacies paired with fine wine from our cellar will take guests on a flavour journey, enveloping the palate and allowing them to feel the rich taste of the culinary history of the place.

COOKING COURSES

Homemade egg pasta, tajarin, potato gnocchi, stuffed ravioli, plin, and the naturally leavened semi-wheat bread called el pan ed Langa. These are not just recipes and preparation, they are the story of an entire community that do not forget the connection to their roots.

Internalising this knowledge means taking a piece of the region’s culture home with you and having it available at all times to smell and taste the Langhe.

Ceramics, fabrics and cutlery recall the way the traditional Langhe table was set. Special objects, bearers of an ancient history, which guests can request and purchase through the tablet in the Villa.

Is it possible to request a breakfast for those with food intolerances or special dietary requierments?

Of course, by communicating specific needs in advance we will happily organise a dedicated breakfast.

What will I find in the pantry when I arrive?

The pantry is stocked with carefully selected local food and wine products such as paste di meliga (crunchy cornmeal shortbread style biscuits), baci di dama (almond and chocolate biscuits), krumiri (butter biscuits), oil products, lingue di suocera (savoury cracker bread) while in the cellar guests can find prestigious wines, old vintages and a well-stocked bar.

Is it possible to have lunch or dinner on the terrace?

Of course, the panoramic terrace is perfect for lunches, dinners and aperitives, and is a particularly picturesque location at sunset.

Can I buy the products and crafts on Mon's table?

Yes, through the tablet in the Villa you can access a shop where you can buy ceramics, cutlery, aprons and many other accessories in the kitchen of MON and local handicrafts and traditional products of the Langhe region.
